What is niche perfumery?
Niche perfumery refers to independent fragrance houses that put artistic creation ahead of mass distribution. Houses such as Maison Francis Kurkdjian, Le Labo, Byredo, Amouage and Creed belong to this world.
The decant as your passport to niche perfumery
A 5ml decant of a niche perfume usually costs less than €15. With 3 to 5 well-chosen decants, you can explore a whole olfactory universe for less than €50 — compared with several hundred euros if you bought the bottles outright.
